Best locations in Grand Rapids, MI for photoshoots.

There are so many beautiful locations in our area, truly, we photographers are BLESSED! Here are 5 of my favorites!

Grand Ravines North

9920 42nd Ave Georgetown Twp, MI 49428

I shot here for the majority of my session for about 2 years because of it’s versatility. There is also a river with a rustic covered bridge! All throughout the park, there are fields of wildflowers. In fall, there are so many trees with beautiful colors. I don’t shoot here as much as I used to only because it’s become so popular, but if you’ve never been, it’s a gorgeous place with so many opportunities for breathtaking photos.

The Highlands

2715 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

This place is beautiful all year long! It may be a popular spot, but with the many winding trails, you can find so many gorgeous places to photograph your clients! I’ve gotten lost here a time or two searching for the cool white tree, but it’s worth it once you find it!

The Glass House Creative Community

6024 Chicago Dr, Zeeland Township, MI 49464

This place is a dream. This one is a rentable space, and is not open to the public. However, well worth every penny and the couple who runs it are wonderful to work with. I would run all of my sessions here if I could. I’ve had mini events that were raining, and I didn’t have to reschedule because the space has plenty of light, and everyone is shielded from the rain. It’s a win, win in my book!

Millenium Park

1415 Maynard Ave SW, Walker, MI 49534

I love this location because it’s so spacious. There are so many different areas here that are so beautiful. There are almost always wildflowers! There are little lakes throughout and a huge bridge that I love to photograph under. Definitely a spot to add to your favorites list!

Haze Studio

3901 Chicago Drive Suite 108 Grandville, MI 49418

Haze Studio is a rentable studio space for photographers. This is the only studio space I use, and it’s the coziest space! With neutral colors, paper rolls, and the easiest accessible location (handicap parking right outside the doors!), your clients will love it too! I hear the owner is pretty great, too. :)
